Solar Shades  

Known for UV Protection, solar shades or solar screen shades is made from a single sheet of material.  Its main function is to block harsh UV rays coming into your space and helps regulate the temperate in your home. They also help reduce glare and protect your home furnishings from fading from the sun.  

Solar shades do not offer privacy as they are designed to let light and air pass through open weave fabric.  The weave’s tightness corresponds to a shade percentage. The higher the openness factor, the looser the weave allows more light.   

Roller Shades 

In contrast to the openness scale in solar shades, roller shades have four opacities to choose from. Select from sheer to light filtering, room darkening to blackout. Light filtering is good for kitchens, family room and the like, whereas blackout material is perfect for bedrooms or a home theater room.
